Two people are facing charges in relation to a weapons call Friday morning.

On July 26, 2024 at approximately 7:20 a.m. police were called to the 1300 block of Avenue B North for a weapons complaint. Further updates stated a male had a knife.

Upon arrival, officers observed the suspects get into a taxi; officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and the suspects were arrested without incident. Upon further investigation, a machete, a knife, and bear spray were located at the scene.

As a result, a 21-year-old woman is facing charges in relation to possession of a weapon (x2), and concealing a weapon (x2). A 14-year-old male is facing charges in relation to possession of a weapon, concealing a weapon, and failure to comply with court ordered conditions.
