A 31-year-old Saskatoon man has been arrested following a call regarding a male armed with a metal pole.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., Sept 11, 2024, Police were called to the area of 20th Street West and Avenue I South. Witnesses reported seeing a man armed with a large pole, striking vehicles and swinging at passersby. Upon arrival, the suspect was located, still in possession of the pole, in the 300 block of Avenue I South. He was taken into custody and found to wanted on an outstanding warrant. No one was injured during the incident.

The male is now facing an additional charge of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace.
