Charges have been laid in an investigation into an assault at a Saskatoon faith-based institution.

In June 2024, the Saskatoon Police Service began an investigation into a report of an assault at a faith-based institution. The victim and accused were known to one another through their affiliation with the institution.

As a result of investigation by members of the Saskatoon Police Service Interpersonal Violence Section, a 44-year-old Saskatoon woman has been charged with Assault with a Weapon. She turned herself in to the SPS on September 16, 2024.
