One male youth was arrested on Wednesday in relation to a stabbing.

At approximately 7:40 p.m. on September 25, 2024 police were called to the 100 block of Leif Erickson Place for a report of an injured person. Initial information stated a male had just been stabbed.

Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from injuries consistent with a stab wound; he was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Shortly after, officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect in this stabbing. As a result, a 14-year-old male is facing charges relating to assault.
