One man was arrested after assaulting two police officers early this morning.

Shortly before 12:30 a.m. this morning, October 3, 2024, police were called to the 100 block of Middleton Crescent for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, officers identified a 19-year-old man believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant causing a disturbance within the residence. The man refused to comply with police commands and, upon attempting to effect his arrest, assaulted two police officers.

As a result, he has been charged with assaulting a police officer (x2).
