Three youth were arrested on Saturday morning in relation to a weapons call.
At approximately 5:40 a.m. on October 12, 2024 police received multiple reports of a group of youth causing a disturbance in the 1500 block of Avenue D North. Initial information stated there was possible property damage and one individual may be in possession of a firearm.
Upon arrival, officers located a group of youth in the area of 36th Street West and Avenue E North; four youth were taken into custody for the firearms and mischief investigation. Upon further investigation, no firearm was located; however, it is believed there were approximately 2-3 more youth that had fled the scene.
As a result, a 14-year-old female was charged with breaching court-ordered conditions and multiple other youth aged 13 to 15 were arrested for public intoxication.
