The Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit has concluded Project Separate, a nine-month investigation into high level drug traffickers in Saskatoon. With the assistance of multiple units within the Saskatoon Police Service, the investigation concluded on October 6, 2024 when a 27-year-old male was arrested near a business in the 3000 block of Meadows Parkway. The remaining accused were arrested a short time later.
36-year-old Allen Luong, 27-year-old Abdullah Seif-Aldeen, and 57-year-old Mario diBattista are all charged with a variety of drug trafficking charges in relation to kilogram level cocaine trafficking.
34-year-old Mahamed Osman and Abdullah Seif-Aldeen are charged with a variety of drug trafficking charges in relation to kilogram level methamphetamine trafficking.
24-year-old Ammar Amesh is charged with drug trafficking charges at the multi ounce level.

The investigation resulted in the following evidence being seized:
- 4219 grams of cocaine
- 2974 grams of methamphetamine
- $16,050 CAD
- 4528 grams buffing agent
- 9 mm carbine rifle
- Prohibited Colt 38 revolver
