One youth has been charged following an altercation that occurred Tuesday night.

Just after 9:30 p.m. on October 22, 2024, police received a report of several youth attempting to rob a business while brandishing a knife. Further updates indicated the youth fled the scene and boarded a city bus.

Officers located the bus and arrested a youth who matched the description provided. A search of his person found a knife that also matched the description of the knife used in the attempted robbery.

As a result, the 13-year-old male has been charged with possession of a weapon and concealing a weapon.
