Arrest - Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit Investigation - Maple Creek

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Maple Creek man with a child exploitation offence. In May of 2024, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit commenced an online investigation relating to child pornography.

On November 14, 2024, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Maple Creek. Electronic devices were examined on scene and seized pursuant to the investigation.

As a result, 38-year-old Ryan Mills of Maple Creek was charged on November 14, 2024 with Possession of Child Pornography.

Mills appeared in court on November 14th and has been released on numerous conditions. His next court appearance is set for December 12, 2024 in Maple Creek Provincial Court.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
