One man is recovering following an assault that occurred Monday night.

At approximately 9:18 p.m. on November 18, 2024, police received a report of an unknown problem in the 600 block of Avenue X South.

Arriving officers located an injured man in the stairwell and provided medical assistance until the man was taken to hospital in stable condition. During the investigation police obtained video surveillance that indicated the man was dragged by four people into a hallway and assaulted. Police were able to identify the four individuals and locate them shortly after.

As a result, three men aged 30, 41 and 48 and one 37-year-old woman have been charged with assault causing bodily harm. Additionally, the 48-year-old male was also found to be breaching his court ordered conditions.
