A 27 year old man is facing charges following an a break and enter and assault which occurred overnight.

At approximately 3:40 a.m. December 31, 2024, Police were called to a home in the 400 block of Avenue Q South where a homeowner reported that a break in was in progress. Upon arrival, officers located the male resident, who reported being assaulted by the suspect before he left on foot. As they were speaking with the victim, the suspect began approaching the property again. He was taken into custody.

He is facing a charge of Break and Enter and a charge of Assault.
