Two people were arrested overnight after they fled from police in a vehicle.

Shortly after 1:00 a.m., January 22, 2025, police officers observed a vehicle stunting in a parking lot in the 900 block of 22nd Street West. Police attempted to stop the driver, however the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. Police located the vehicle a short time later in the 1200 block of Avenue J North and observed the occupants attempting to flee on foot. Two males were located and arrested.

The driver, a 36-year-old man, is charged with Evade Police and Dangerous Driving. (Court Info # 991292905)

The passenger, a 43-year-old man, was arrested on outstanding Criminal Code warrants. Upon arrival at SPS Detention, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl, and charged with Possession (x2).
