The Saskatoon Police Service wishes to correct a reference to an address in the below news release. The address should be 900 block of 5th Avenue North, not 900 block of 5th Street East as it is written.
One man is recovering following a stabbing last night.
At around 9:30 p.m. on February 26, 2025, police were called to a residence in the 900 block of 5th Street East for a report of a man that was seeking assistance from an area resident following a stabbing. Upon arrival, police and paramedics attended to the 18-year-old male victim who was suffering from multiple serious stab wounds; he was transported to hospital by Medavie Heath Services West for further treatment. The stabbing is believed to have occurred somewhere downtown by persons unknown to the victim.
Police are continuing to investigate.
