A 19 year old Saskatoon man is recovering from injuries following an assault with a machete.

At approximately 11 p.m., May 10, 2026, Police received a report of an injured person at 22nd Street East and 1st Avenue North. Upon arrival officers located the 19 year old man suffering from a number of slash wounds. He was transported to hospital for treatment.

He reported being assaulted by two men. Both suspects are described as being about 20 years of age and wearing all black clothing. The first suspect is also described as approximately 5'9" and wearing a green hat.
