Police are investigating after a vehicle was stolen at gunpoint early yesterday morning.

Shortly after 12:00 a.m. on May 26, 2026, police were called to the area of 17th Street West and Avenue W South for a report of a vehicle being stolen at gunpoint. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had been stopped at the roadside when an unknown man and woman approached and robbed them of their vehicle with a firearm. The suspects then fled in the stolen vehicle. The victim was not physically injured during the incident.

Members of the General Investigations Section are continuing to investigate.
