VICE / Human Trafficking Unit
The VICE and Human Trafficking Unit is responsible for the investigation of sex work-related offences in the community, including human trafficking. As part of this mandate, investigators work to identify victims of sexual exploitation and assist them in accessing community and Victim Services. The overarching priority of the unit in these investigations is to reduce abuse, exploitation, trafficking and violence among those involved in the sex trade. The unit is comprised of one sergeant and two constables.
