A 22-year-old woman is facing Impaired Driving charges following a collision last night.

At approximately 11:50 p.m., May 15, 2019, Police responded to a single-vehicle collision at 1st Avenue North and King Street. Upon arrival, officers observed that a vehicle had struck a telephone pole. Witnesses identified the driver as a woman who had begun walking away from the scene. She was taken into custody and checked by Medavie Health Services before being transported to Detention.

She is charged with Impaired Driving and Exceed .08. She was also issued a ticket for driving an unregistered vehicle.
