The Saskatoon Police Service received a call at 9:34p.m., on July 3rd, to a parking lot in the 2900 blk of 8th St E for a robbery in progress.
Officers located a male victim who reports that after loading groceries into his vehicle an unknown male entered the vehicle and held a knife to him. The victim exited the vehicle and a physical altercation occurred with the suspect. The suspect then stole the victim's vehicle and left west bound on 8th St E.
The victim received a minor injury as a result and was treated at scene.
At 1:38a.m., on July 4th, patrol officers located the stolen vehicle parked on Betts Ave in a parking lot with a lone male occupant who was taken into custody without incident.
A 26 year old man from Saskatoon was arrested for armed robbery, carry a concealed weapon and weapon dangerous. He will be attending court this afternoon.
