A 15-year-old youth is facing charges after Police received a report of a male with a firearm yesterday morning.

At approximately 6:45 a.m., July 3, 2019, Communications received a call about a male who was seen entering a residence in the 100 block of Avenue U North with what was reported to be a sawed-off shotgun.

Upon Police arrival, Officers located a male in the garden shed attempting to hide beneath a shelf. He was found to have a rifle bolt in his possession and Officers located the matching firearm in a nearby bucket.

The accused, a 15-year-old male, is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Unauthourized Possession, Possession Contrary to Order and Breach of Undertaking. (Court Info # 991095914).
