Saskatoon Police responded yesterday to an injured person in the 300 block of Avenue T South. Police and Medavie services attempted life saving measures but were unsuccessful. SPS Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Services were called out and have now ruled this as a homicide investigation. The victim is a 45 year old male. Any further details of the victim will not be released at this time.
An autopsy to determine the cause of death has been ordered by the Office of the Chief Coroner and will take place Tuesday July 9, 2019. The investigation continues.

The male victim has been transported to hospital, and Police remain on scene investigating.
