Saskatoon Police responded to a collision at the intersection of 8th Street and Acadia Drive earlier this morning.

Shortly after 10:30 a.m., July 11, 2019, Police received a call of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on a motorized scooter at the intersection of 8th Street East and Acadia Drive. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the elderly male on the motorized scooter struck the back panel of the vehicle as he was attempting to cross the road.

The 93-year-old man on the motorized scooter was transported to hospital with minor injuries by Medavie Health Services West.

No charges will be laid.
