Fourteen people are facing 476 charges following a search warrant executed by Saskatoon Police last night.
Officers had reason to believe that a number of people in a residence in the 200 block of Avenue W South, were in possession of prohibited weapons and also may be involved in drug trafficking. A search warrant was executed at approximately 8:00 p.m., July 16, 2019. Numerous types of weapons and drugs were located in the home including:
- 35 grams of cocaine
- 99 ecstasy pills
- 22 packages of shatter
- 4 loaded firearms and associated ammunition
- Approximately $1650 in cash
The 14 people arrested range in age from 13 to 33. Eleven of the people charged are youth.

On July 16, 2019 at approximately 8:00 p.m., a Search Warrant was executed at a residence in the 200 block of Avenue W South by the Guns and Gangs Unit, assisted by Patrol, Canine, Tactical Support, and Crisis Negotiators.
Pedestrian and vehicular traffic on Avenue W South and 21st Street West was temporarily restricted during the event. Those restrictions have now been lifted.
A number of persons were taken into custody as part of the investigation. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
