Three people were arrested following a stabbing that occurred early this morning.

At approximately 4:50 a.m., Saskatoon Police were dispatched to a hospital in the 100 block of Hospital Drive for a 31 year old male victim, reporting that he had been stabbed. Officers learned that the victim attended to a park in the 1000 block of Egbert Avenue. Following a confrontation between the man and numerous teens, the man reported that he was stabbed by one of them, before they fled on foot. The victim’s injuries are believed to serious but non-life threatening. The victim and suspects were known to each other.

Officers attended to two residences in the 100 and 1500 blocks of Rayner Avenue. Three males, ages 19, 16 and 12 were arrested. The 19 year old is not facing charges and has since been released. The 16 year old and 12 year old are charged with Aggravated Assault.
