Saskatoon Police are investigating a garage fire from yesterday morning.

Shortly after 10:00 a.m., July 31, 2019, Police and Fire crews responded to a report of a garage on fire in the 2000 block of St. Henry Avenue. It was also reported that a man had knocked on the back door of the residence prior to the fire starting. He left after a brief conversation with the homeowner, and was reportedly in possession of two machetes.

An arson investigator was called to the scene and the fire has been deemed suspicious.
