Armed Street Robberies - 21st Street West And 3rd Avenue North

Saskatoon Police are investigating two separate armed street robberies which occurred yesterday.

Police were call at approximately 6:45 p.m., August 13, 2019 to the 300 block of 21st Street West. A male youth reported being approached by a group of four unknown males who pointed a handgun and demanded the victim's shoes. The victim was able flee and seek assistance at a nearby business.

The male suspects are described as all wearing green clothing. Two were on bicycles while the other two were on foot.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., August 13, 2019, Police received a report of another robbery at gunpoint. a 40 year old man reported being approached while in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue North. The incident involved three suspects, a woman and two men, who threatened the victim with a handgun and first demanded his cell phone and then his pass code. The suspects then fled on foot.

The female suspect is described as being approximately 20 years old, 5'3" in height, wearing all black with a teardrop tattoo under her eye. One male suspect is described as late 20's, 6' in height, wearing all black. The second male suspect is described as being between 19 and 20 years of age, 5'8" in height, wearing all black with a blue and white bandanna.

Neither victim was physically injured. It is not known if the two incidents are connected.
