A 27 year old Saskatoon woman is facing charges after threatening a motorist with a handgun.
At approximately 1:30 a.m., August 15, 2019, a motorist reported being stopped in the 1800 block of 20th Street West when she was approached by a cyclist. The cyclist told the motorist to roll down her window. When the motorist refused the cyclist pulled up her shirt, showing a handgun. The motorist fled the scene and notified Police. Patrol officers located a female cyclist matching the suspect description a short distance away. They found her to be in possession of a BB gun.
The woman is charged with Carrying a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Breach of Undertaking.
