A Saskatoon man was arrested yesterday in relation to a mail theft and stolen ID.

At approximately 1:00 p.m., August 27, 2019, Patrol members were dispatched to an apartment in the 1900 block of 7th Street East for a report of a man causing a disturbance. Upon Police arrival, the male suspect was seen attempting to gain entry to the building. He was arrested by officers after presenting them with stolen identification and claiming it was his. The man was also attempting to hide a large amount of stolen mail on his person. Police confirmed the mail had been taken from that apartment building.

The 37 year old man is facing numerous charges including Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Identification and Breach of Conditions.
