A 23-year-old man was arrested earlier this morning for impaired driving after he refused to stop for Police.

At approximately 3:00 a.m., August 29, 2019, Patrol officers observed a vehicle drifting in and out of their lane of travel in the area of 33rd Street West and Avenue I North. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the vehicle failed to comply. The vehicle eventually stopped in the 300 block of Avenue L North where the driver was taken into custody without incident.

Further investigation found that the vehicle had been reported stolen.

The 23-year-old Saskatoon man is charged with Impaired Driving, Refusal of a Breath Demand, Fail to Stop, Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, Breach of Undertaking and Breach of Probation. (Court Info # 991102900).
