Three youth are facing charges after Patrol officers observed a stolen vehicle earlier this morning.

Shortly before 2:00 a.m., September 5, 2019, Patrol officers observed a Ford Fiesta traveling in the area of Confederation Drive and Northumberland Drive. The vehicle had been reported stolen earlier that night. Police followed at a distance before activating emergency equipment. Other Patrol units in the area were able to successfully deploy a tire deflation device causing the vehicle to come to a stop. Three people were arrested from inside the vehicle.

Two female youth, ages 13 and 15, are charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000. A 15-year-old male is charged with Obstruction and Breach of Undertaking.
