Five people are facing charges after an investigation by the Guns & Gangs Unit last night.
At approximately 8:00 p.m., September 4, 2019, members of the Guns & Gangs Unit conducted a check on a person with conditions who was seen entering a residence in the 200 block of Avenue R South. Inside the residence, officers located numerous individuals, a shotgun, ammunition, knives and methamphetamine.
Four men, ages 24, 26, 41 and 63, are charged with: Careless Storage of a Firearm, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Unauthourized Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of a Weapon Obtained by Commission of Offence.
The 24-year-old man is facing additional charges of Possession of Firearm Contrary to Order and Breach of Undertaking.
A 32-year-old man was arrested for Breach of Undertaking, Breach of Probation, and outstanding warrants.
