Two people are facing twenty charges following a traffic stop on Friday night.

At approximately 10:00 p.m., September 6, 2019, Saskatoon Police observed a suspicious vehicle park in the 900 block of Avenue P North. A traffic stop was conducted. While officers were speaking to the driver and passenger of the Pontiac Grand Prix, they observed machetes in the vehicle. The two were arrested without incident. A further search of the vehicle revealed a sawed-off shot gun, ammunition and methamphetamine.

A 24 year old man and a 23 year old woman, both from Saskatoon, are each facing six firearms-related charges, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x2), Possession of Methamphetamine and Breach of Probation.
