Saskatoon Police arrested a man last night after receiving reports of a suspicious person.

At 7:50 p.m., September 8, 2019, Patrol officers were dispatched to the area of 19th Street West and Avenue B South for a complaint of a suspicious person. It was reported to Police that a man was following girls in a park in the area. Upon arrival, officers quickly located a man matching the suspect description. When an officer exited the Patrol Car, the suspect immediately fled on foot on 19th Street. He was apprehended a short distance away and taken into custody following a brief altercation. It is believed that the suspect was under the influence of an intoxicant at the time of the incident.

A 24 year old Saskatoon man is charged with Breach of Undertaking.
