The Saskatoon Police Service in partnership with various settlement agencies in Saskatoon, is hosting its 9th Annual Race Against Racism this upcoming Saturday, September 21, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.
The goal of the event is to provide a positive environment for people of all backgrounds to gather and promote an active, healthy lifestyle while encouraging positive police-community relations. This year the race is going back to its roots with two distances - a 2.5km and 5km fun run/walk/stroller roll. Following the run, participants are encouraged to visit the Cultural Expo hosted in the same area.

Proceeds from registration fees will be shared among the settlement agencies. Participants are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to "Cram the Cruiser" in support of the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre.
The Race is a partnership between; Global Gathering Place, Saskatoon Open Door Society, Saskatchewan Intercultural Association, Saskatoon Tribal Council, Newcomer Information Centre, International Women of Saskatoon, and Brainsport.
