Vehicle Stop Results In Weapons Charges - 100 Block 33rd Street West

On Tuesday 24th September 2019 at 00:42am a Saskatoon Police patrol unit performed a vehicle stop in the 100 Block of 33rd Street West under the Traffic Safety Act. As a result a loaded firearm, with additional ammunition, along with other weapons and drugs were found; 1 occupant ran from the vehicle while the other 4 were being arrested. The runner was located a short distance from the vehicle stop, he had a large number of outstanding warrants of arrest.

In total the 5 occupants of the vehicle are facing over 60 criminal charges and will be held at Saskatoon Police detention cells until they appear in front of a Judge this afternoon.

The suspects range in age from 14 years old to 35 years old.
