A 29 year old Saskatoon man is facing a number of charges following his arrest yesterday.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. October 2, 2019, members of the Guns and Gangs Unit, the Tactical Support Unit and Patrol arrested the 29 year old man at he was leaving a home in the 300 block of Avenue V south. The man was identified as someone wanted on warrants out of North Battleford and was taken into custody. A search of his backpack resulted in officers locating an imitation handgun, a bolt cutter, a pry bar and other break and enter tools. He was also found to be in possession of several pieces of mail and documentation belonging to other people.

He is now facing charges including; possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, possession of break and enter tools.
