Two Arrested - Methamphetamine Trafficking Investigation - 400 Block 3rd Avenue North

A 39 year old Saskatoon man is facing a number of charges following an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Drug Unit into methamphetamine trafficking.

The man and a 23 year old woman were arrested on October 3, 2019 in the 900 block 22nd Street West after detectives in the drug unit witnessed activity consistent with illegal drug transactions. A search of the Ford Mustang involved resulted in officers locating 36 grams of methamphetamine, 0.9 grams of fentanyl in individual baggies, 5 grams of crack cocaine in individual baggies, more than $200 cash, phones and drug paraphernalia. A subsequent search of an apartment in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue North resulted in officers locating a .45 calibre airsoft gun, bear spray and other drug paraphernalia.

The 39 year old man is facing numerous charges including; trafficking in methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine, possession of the proceeds of crime, breach of parole and several weapons charges.

The 23 year old woman was found to be wanted on warrants out of The Battlefords.
