A 31 year old Saskatoon man is in custody following a traffic stop involving a suspicious vehicle.

At approximately 11:17p.m., October 7, 2019, Patrol Officers observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of 33rd St W and Ave P N. While officers were dealing with the driver, the passenger was observed with brass knuckles and a knife. He was immediately taken into custody without incident. Officers then located 127.4 grams of methamphetamine and 4.4 grams of crack cocaine on the passenger.

The 31 year old man is facing charges including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine and crack cocaine, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous X2, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon X2, and Breach of a Weapons Prohibition X2. He will be attending court in the afternoon on October 8, 2019.
