Saskatoon Police have arrested and charged a 39 year old man with Arson in connection to the house fire. He is expected to appear in court this afternoon.
There were no reported injuries and there is no estimate of the cost of damages at this time. There are no traffic restrictions in place. SPS and the Saskatoon Fire Department continue to investigate.

Saskatoon Police and the Saskatoon Fire Department are currently on the scene of a house fire in the 1800 block of Avenue D North. Due to safety concerns, members of the public and the media are advised to avoid the area at this time.
The call came in at approximately 8:30 a.m., October 8, 2019. Injuries are unknown at this time. An update will be released when the scene is cleared.
