A 25 year old man wanted in connection to a stabbing has been arrested.

David Bradley Gamle was located and brought into custody yesterday afternoon.  He is now facing a charge of Aggravated Assault and is expected to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court this afternoon.  

The Serious Assault Unit is continuing it's investigation in an effort to identify the second suspect in the incident.

The original release should be corrected to say that the victim and suspects were not known to each other.  (2019-0719)

Following a lengthy investigation by investigators in the SPS Serious Assault Unit, an arrest warrant has been issued for a 25 year old man.  David Bradley Gamble of the Duck Lake area is wanted for aggravated assault in connection to a stabbing that occurred in Saskatoon on October 8, 2019.  A 44 year old man was seriously injured during the incident and continues to recover.

One man is in hospital today following a serious assault early this morning.

At approximately 3:15 a.m., October 8, 2019, Patrol officers were flagged down by a person on 25th Street East and 2nd Avenue North. They reported to Police that a man had been stabbed and directed officers to the victim’s location in an alley off of 26th Street, between 3rd and 4th Avenues. The 44 year old male victim was found suffering from multiple stab wounds. Medavie Health Services attended and transported the man to hospital with serious, life threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as two men believed to be in their early 20's. One was wearing black pants, white runners and a red sweater with a grey jacket overtop. The second suspect is described as wearing all black with white stripes on the sides. He was also carrying a black backpack.

It is believed that the suspects and victim were known to each other.
