Online Threat Involving School - 100 Block Of Nelson Road

An arrest has been made regarding an incident where an online threat was made involving a school in the 100 block of Nelson Road.

On October 23, 2019, officers from the Saskatoon Police Service’s School Resource Unit with the assistance of the Dalmeny Police Service arrested a 17 year old male in relation to this incident.  The youth was arrested at his residence in Dalmeny, Saskatchewan.   He has been charged with Uttering Threats and Mischief.

He is scheduled to appear in court on the morning of October 24, 2019.

The Saskatoon Police are investigating an incident of an online threat being made involving a school.

On October 19, 2019, the Saskatoon Police received a report of an online threat that was made to cause harm involving a school in the 100 block of Nelson Road. Through preliminary investigation a person of interest has been identified and spoken with. Police believe that there is no imminent threat to the students and staff at the school.

Police continue to investigate.
