A Saskatoon Police Service marked vehicle performed a vehicle stop at Avenue E North and Walmer Road on Friday 25th October 2019 at 01:52am.

One of the occupants fled on foot from the vehicle but with the assistance of the Air Support Unit (ASU) and responding police ground units the suspect was quickly located and arrested.

He was found to have 5 outstanding warrants for a variety of criminal charges, including Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property and Assault on a Police Officer. The 30 year old male suspect is now facing 4 additional charges of Obstructing a Police Officer by resisting arrest and 3 breaches of his court ordered conditions.

He will be held in Police custody until he appears in front of a Justice of the Peace Friday evening.
