A 21 year old man and a 20 year old woman are facing charges following a months-long investigation by members of the Guns and Gangs Unit.

At approximately 8:50 a.m., October 25, 2019, investigators conducted a traffic stop of a Dodge Caravan on Highway #7 just west of Saskatoon. Officers believed the van was being used to transport drugs from British Columbia to be sold in Saskatoon and area. Three occupants were inside the van, the 21 year old man, 20 year old woman and a 1 year old child. Also inside the van investigators located 900 packages of shatter (cannabis extract) and 3.2 kilograms of cannabis marihuana.

A subsequent search of a residence in the 200 block of Nelson Place in Warman located approximately 60 grams of shatter, 250 grams of cannabis marihuana along with drug paraphernalia. Investigators also located and seized 2 motorcycles, 2 vehicles, an ATV (quad) and 2 personal watercrafts as proceeds of crime

The man and woman are facing charges of Possession of Cannabis For the Purpose of Distributing It, The Cannabis Act and Possession of the Proceeds of Crime.
