The Saskatoon Police Sex Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate a serious sexual assault that occurred earlier this month.

A 19-year-old man reported that between October 3 and 5, 2019, he was sexually assaulted and forcibly confined at a residence in the 200 block of Stensrud Road. Through investigation, Police learned that the victim had met the suspect through a social networking app.

As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at the residence on Stensrud Road.

Police have arrested and charged a 36-year-old Saskatoon man with Aggravated Sexual Assault, Forcible Confinement and Breach of Undertaking. He will appear in Provincial Court this afternoon. (Court Info #: 991109649)
