Saskatoon Police are investigating at incident in which a sanding truck was being driven through several areas of the city in an erratic manner early this morning.

Police began receiving reports at approximately 4:50 a.m., November 4, 2019, of the truck being driven at high speeds and sideswiping a vehicle as it was being driven on Circle Drive and into the downtown area. Other motorists assisted in tracking it's movement until Police could locate the vehicle which came to a stop on 7th Avenue. The driver was taken into custody and subsequently transported to Royal University Hospital for assessment.

No one was physically injured during the incident.
