Members of the Major Crime Section, along with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, are currently investigating a sudden death.

On November 10, 2019, Saskatoon Police and Medavie Health Services were called to an address in the 400 block of Avenue S South for the report of a 13 year old female in medical distress. The youth was transported to hospital where she received treatment. On November 12, 2019 the youth passed away in hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
