Saskatoon Police, along with members of the Saskatoon Fire Department and Medavie Health Services, responded to a two-vehicle collision today at 7:40 a.m., November 20, 2019.
An SUV, occupied by two females, ages 58 and 22, was travelling east on College Drive when it struck a car. The 43 year old female in the car, was turning south off of College Drive onto Wiggins Avenue, when her vehicle was struck by the SUV. The SUV then struck a light standard and flipped onto its roof. Both occupants of the SUV were transported to hospital as a precaution and the driver was charged for disobeying an amber light. The driver of the car did not receive any injuries.
A City of Saskatoon crew is still on scene to repair the light standard. Traffic restrictions have been lifted.
