Saskatoon Police are investigating after responding to a report of shots fired on Monday morning.
At approximately 11:20 a.m., November 18, 2019, Police received a call about reported gunshots in the 100 block of Avenue N South. Upon arrival, officers found evidence of gunshots, including one into an apartment that was occupied. Police learned the shots were heard shortly after 9:00 a.m.
As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 100 block of Avenue N South, and several firearms were seized.
No one was injured during this incident, and no arrests have been made at this time.
Police do not believe the act was random in nature and the Guns & Gangs Unit is continuing to investigate.
