Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Targeted Enforcement Section are investigating a shooting that occurred over the weekend.

Just after midnight, November 25, 2019, Police were called to a residence in the 1400 block of 1st Avenue North to a report of an injured man. Upon arrival a 33 year old man was located suffering from what are believed to be gunshot wounds. The man was transported to hospital by Medavie Ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

Based on preliminary investigation Police do not believe this incident to be random in nature.
