Two men, ages 33 and 36 are facing charges following an incident in which a stolen truck refused to stop for Police.
At approximately 3:40 a.m., November 24, 2019 Patrol officers spotted a stolen Chevrolet Silverado in a parking lot in the 200 block of Pendygrasse Road. An attempt was made to stop the vehicle, however the driver refused and evaded Police. Officers were able to lay down a tire deflation device which was successful in disabling the tires. In spite of the damage, the suspects continued until they exited the City and stopped in a field near Dalmeny. They were located hiding nearby and arrested.
The two men are facing charges including; Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, Evade Police, Dangerous Driving and Breach of Undertaking. A 27 year old woman was also arrested at the scene but released with a warning. The vehicle had been reported stolen from Moose Jaw.
