Saskatoon Police are at the scene of a collision involving a van that struck a cement pillar to the pedestrian overpass on 22nd St W near the Shaw Centre.
Police received a call at 3:38 a.m., on November 30, 2019 of a collision involving 1 vehicle. The vehicle was travelling west bound on 22nd St W and drove off the road and into a cement pillar. The driver of the vehicle was trapped and as a result and had to be extracted from the vehicle by the Saskatoon Fire Department. All four occupants in the vehicle are adults. 3 occupants were transported to the hospital by Medavie Health Services with serious injuries while another passenger was transported to the hospital by police with minor injuries.
The roadway is still open for west bound traffic but there may be some traffic restrictions in the area of the collision as patrol officers and members of the Collision Analyst Unit continue to investigate.
